Markets in Asia are having a gloomy trading week, with shares in Japan, Hong Kong,Australia, India and Shanghai dipping sharply as investors gave a thumbs down to a US government plan to revive the troubled US economy. Australia's markets also lost nearly 7% by the end of trading day. In India's financial capital, Mumbai, trading was temporarily halted when the market nosedived almost 10 per cent on opening - a day after recording its sharpest one day fall ever.
